RJ Sick and Other Achievements

    So, RJ was sick from his shots, and it was a super bummer. Other than that though, we had a wonderful visit with Joe, as well as the 49ers winning the championship game and are HEADED TO THE SUPER BOWL. The picture of RJ in his 49er shirt with RED AND GOLD food on his face is pretty awesome, it wasn't intentional but it came out pretty cool. He bleeds Red and Gold.
    RJ also did two big things today: I was exhausted from him being sick, so I put him in his baby safe room with a bunch of toys so that I could go lay down for about 20 minutes, and when I woke up 20 minutes later I heard NO noise on the monitor, of course my mommy mind started racing and every nerve in my body told me something was seriously wrong, so I burst into his room at about 20,000,000 MPH, just to find he had went into his blanket cupboard, grabbed out two of his favorite blankets and a sheet, and laid them down and put himself down for a nice nap. Too funny! Of course I took a picture of him sleeping on the floor, I couldn't resist. The second big thing was: I put a bunch of bite sized bites of string cheese and some banana puffs on the tray of his high chair today and just left him be and sure enough he started feeding himself. He definitely prefers the cheese though because not only was it his first real time feeding himself, but it was also his first time figuring out that if he doesn't want to eat something and he throws it off the tray when Mommy isn't looking that the dog comes and sweeps it away for him. Smart kid!
