11 Weeks

My handsome, happy guy is, somehow, already 11 weeks old. So crazy!!!

Dad's Side

Had a great time catching up with some of my dad's side on Thursday in Santa Cruz. Aunt Ann and Cousin Gary came in from PA, so I went to Aunt Tricia's to hang with them and ate some Pizza my Heart. Cousin Amy, Jesse, and baby Duncan stopped by too. :-) Good times!

Lazy

I have a lazy boy in the mornings, for sure. It's great when I get to snuggle with him in the mornings, but when I have to get him up it breaks my heart because he's all snuggly and warm and doesn't want to get up. He's just so darn cute. This is a photo of him trying to hide his face from me and the light this morning at 6 am.

Girls

Another day of RJ going to work with me, the girls sure love playing with him. Too cute! Papa and RJ are currently napping together, had to snap a photo of that. :-) They were both watching TV, then I look over and they were both OUT!

First Night Out

Yesterday was Tony's birthday, and Mal's brother threw a 90's party, just happened to be on his birthday. So we asked Noni and Opa to watch RJ, which they did happily, and we went out... My first night out without the boy, we only went for a few hours, but it felt like forever. I had a good time, of course, but I missed him they ENTIRE time. I kept checking the time as well, and every time I did that his picture would come up on my phone and make me miss him more and more and more... It was a vicious cycle. haha. 

Good news though: The boy took a bottle for the first time with no problems! WHOOT. That's exciting news because now when I need to, I know I can drop him off and he'll EAT! Really excited about that. Looks like it's time to be pumping more and more. :-)

10 Weeks

The big 2.5 months old, on his dad's 26th birthday. WHOOT :-) Of course, Papa is working, even though it's SATURDAY and his BIRTHDAY! What a man! I hope he knows how grateful I am for him and how hard he works. Happy 10 weeks Bubba, and happy 26th Papa!

Love

When people say that a baby changes everything, I'd say they are right but not for the same reason most people do. It's more like a baby changes YOU. I am a completely different person since falling in love with my little man. Everything looks and seems different now, it changed me for the better. Everything hasn't changed, I've changed, drastically.
One of the many things that's different now, is my respect for mother's as a whole. Just in general, mother's are probably one of the most amazing things to grace the planet Earth.
I see my husband in a whole new light as well, I've never had more respect for him and how hard he works. Babies do amazing things to people.
One of the ways I can also explain it is my heart is bigger. I mean, I have more love and emotions than ever before, and I literally feel, scientifically, factually, like my heart is bigger! I have more places inside my heart then before and am brought to tears much easier now.
The evils of the world seem less, yet so much more. I also see beauty in things I didn't before.
I feel more love than ever, it's unexplainable, fascinating and incredible.
Babies change the world, they take women and make them mother's, and there is no other power as strong as that.

RJ Update

Mr. RJ has really strong legs and stands up for long periods of time. He is getting pretty good at sitting up for a short period of time. He loves music and loves to dance and wiggle. :-) He's also a snuggle bug. Love his little chuckle too!!! He tends to stick out his top lip to laugh, too cute!

Siblings

My son so far has met EVERYONE (including extended family) in Tony's family but just as of yesterday he's still only met Katie, Kevin, Danny, and Patrick out of my siblings. Katie and Patrick just met him in the last week as well. At least we're getting there lol. :-)

St. Pattys Day!

The boys first St. Patty's day!
My Uncle Dale died of a massive heart attack this morning, he will be missed greatly! RIP Unca D! He was a great friend of my father's, and my mother's. We had just recently talked about me driving to Sacramento so that RJ and him could meet, I sure wish I had made the trip sooner. Now, he at least can look down and see him. We love and miss you Uncle Dale!!!
